GANE - Growing Audiences North East
Audience Development Training Roadshows

As part of the GANE project, HI~Arts has been running a range of Audience Development training roadshows across the North East of Scotland, in 2009. These 3 to 4 hour workshops provide an introduction to marketing planning for cultural organisations, and are appropriate for any level of arts practitioner or cultural group.

The roadshows present new ways of approaching your marketing, giving useful tips on available audience research to help you make the right choices for reaching new audiences and increasing your sales. The training roadshows also use workbooks to help you focus on the needs of your own group or business.

Roadshows took place in June 2009 at Aberdeen Arts Centre, Banchory's Woodend Barn, Elgin's Red Shoes Theatre and Dalrymple Hall in Fraserburgh. Thanks to all those who attended! A more intensive two-day training course in Marketing Strategy took place on 24th and 25th September 2009 at Mar Lodge by Braemar.

Forthcoming Roadshows

More roadshows covering a range of different audience development subjects are in the making and will take place in 2010. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more by phoning 01330-826522 or email: info@ganeaudiences.co.uk  .
